Back from France

There are some photos from our trip to France. We took my parents to Brittany for the first time. We checked out Mont Saint Michel, St. Malo, the D-day beaches of Normandy, a couple of castles in the Loire, and several other places in Brittany. Of course we ate a lot of cheese and drank a lot of wine as usual.

Update

The beginning of 2008 has brought a lot of changes to our life in DC. After consulting for the World Bank for a while, I just started working as a staff consultant/project administrator for a firm working on USAID contracts. Basically it works to implement US government development projects in various countries. Right now my projects focus on Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In order for me to commute to this new job, we had to get a car, a Chevy Prizm 2001 with a strong cherry smell. A job, a car, I guess it starts to look like adulthood…
We’re heading to France for the next couple weeks with Aaron’s parents. My mom has concocted us an itinerary around Brittany and Normandy. It should be a lot of fun, and a chance to see everybody back home. So to those of you in France, hopefully we’ll see you soon!
