One of the many Middle East Peace movements that has recently formed to counter the decisions of our insane leaders is simply asking for your name on their petition to get 1 million voices for peace. Although it’s a little too pop with their concerts on October 18th to rally people together (can’t we ever gather people together for a cause without having some celebrity say it’s cool to do it?) and simplistic, the solutions are ultimately simple and there are power in numbers. Nobody I know actually prefers war, so the voices of peace have more power than you think to make change.

All is well in DC. We’ve been keeping busy, so we’re happy to have the three day weekend. We’ve also caved in and decided to join facebook after several invitiations to join. So if you haven’t joined yet, join and look us up. We had an interesting experience today. We were waiting for the bus in front of our place to go the library. Then an old man drove up to us and insisted he give us a ride. (more…)
